Fender IT was founded in 2020 by Tye Fender with a clear objective: give Australian manufacturers business systems that actually work. Tye's journey is unusual for a consultant — it's rooted in over a decade of senior management experience within the manufacturing sector. He's lived the operational realities, from the factory floor to the front office, and understands the constant "fires" businesses face.

It was this hands-on experience that led Tye to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. In 2023, he personally led a full ERP rollout from scratch at his manufacturing job. This wasn't a theoretical exercise; it was a real-world implementation that cut hours of manual work and created smoother processes across the board. This experience, including a "rocky start" with other consultants, solidified his belief in setting up systems correctly from the get-go.
